Deziria at the White House: A Proud Moment for Utah’s Craft Chocolate
In July, Deziria Chocolate had the honor of being part of something truly special, representing the Flavors of Utah at the White House.
Co-founders Oniz Birsoy and Seyhan Bozkurt were invited to Washington D.C. to showcase the spirit and craftsmanship of Utah’s local makers, alongside Senator Mike Lee and Congressman John Curtis. Standing at the podium of the United States Senate, holding a Deziria chocolate bar, was more than a proud moment; it was a celebration of how far passion and authenticity can take a small but determined brand.
At Deziria, we believe chocolate is more than just a treat. It’s a story of origins, of people, of love for the craft. To have that story recognized on a national level means the world to us. From our beginnings in Utah to now being featured in the nation’s capital, our mission remains the same: to bring non-GMO and truly honest chocolate to everyone who appreciates real flavor and real connection.
We’re deeply grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who supports our journey, from our local community to chocolate lovers across the country. This moment at the White House isn’t just Deziria’s achievement; it’s Utah’s.
Here’s to sharing more sweetness, one bar at a time.
